Training Planning

13–15 år

The youth plan an entire training session together in small groups, with the leaders acting as sounding boards while the youth decide on the content.

How it works:

  • Divide into smaller groups of 3–4 youth per group.
  • Each group is given responsibility for one training session.
  • They plan together: warm-up, technical and competitive elements, and team gatherings.
  • The leader’s role is to act as a sounding board during planning and provide support during implementation—for example, regarding what might be “good to keep in mind”/time management/materials/clear objectives and how we communicate so that everyone can absorb the information.
  • The group leads their training session and receives feedback afterward.

A tip is to ask the participants how they prefer to give and receive feedback—verbally or by writing it down on paper based on given questions. Find what works best for you!
