Christmas and summer parties!

A meeting place for the association’s 13–18-year-olds as well as board members and employees. A playful and festive evening aimed at bridging the gap between decision-makers and active participants.

The summer and Christmas parties are safe and playful meeting places where teenagers meet the association’s decision-makers. Here, young people can express their ideas and discuss issues that affect them—while adults listen and take their perspectives to heart.

The meeting spaces are based on methods similar to Youth2030’s “Hackathon” as well as experiences from Swedish sports clubs. Young people get to talk about their experience of sports, and the focus is on leveling the power balance between generations.

What is the purpose of the evening?

  • Aimed at teenagers and adults in leadership roles (e.g., boards and employees) to build relationships and a sense of community
  • Create a safe environment for young people to express their thoughts, share experiences, and influence issues related to their sport
